If you started your legal career searching for pocket parts and Bates stamping documents, it's time to let AI make your work life simpler. I know what you don't know - but need to - to use AI securely in your daily practice.
What To Expect
I create a personalized session explaining the different AI choices relevant for your practice, the ethical rules you need to consider, and how to use AI to simplify and expedite the legal work you do.
Depending on your familiarity with AI, the starting point and information I provide will differ, but all sessions will include important client confidentiality considerations, ethical rules, strategies for building AI prompts to train models, and whether paid or free AI services (or a combination) are right for your practice.
Each session ends with walking through a sample task you would like to use AI to complete.
Why hire me?
My legal career began when firms were considering whether to allow lawyers to use the internet. We spent a lot of time doing things like Shepardizing. Printer paper had holes on the sides. Our firm had a typing pool.
But in this century, I've used AI in legal research, drafting and administrative tasks, taught myself as a GenXer, and watched countless 'AI for lawyers' presentations - so I know what you don't know, what you need to know and what is a waste of your time.
I have experience as a legal writing professor at a large Boston law school, as a litigation associate, as a marketing writer for one of the world's leading law firms, and as a contract writer for law firms and other businesses.
I've run my own business. I understand your time pressures.
My teaching style is to keep you active - if you never draft contracts, we won't talk about that. We'll use a sample of something you are working on (without any confidential details, of course) to use as a model so you learn by doing.
Why AI Thinks You Should Hire Me
